Kendrapara: Derabish police arrested one Pradip Kumar Sahu, 40, of Ambura village Wednesday for allegedly molesting a minor girl Monday night outside her house, said IIC Umakanta Nayak.
Nayak said that Pradip molested the child while she was relieving herself outside her house. The victim informed her parents, and they informed the police and lodged an FIR at the Derabish police station.
Pradip was arrested and produced in the SDJM court to face charges under Section 354 and 354(A) of IPC and Section 8 of POCSO. The court rejected his bail plea and sent him to custody, said Nayak.
