Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal felicitated Bhagyasri Sahoo and Silu Nayak Wednesday afternoon at Raj Bhawan here for their remarkable achievements and selfless services to the society.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier praised both in his popular radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ a few days ago.
Governor Lal, while felicitating Bhagyasri, highly appreciated her extraordinary talent and creative works of Pattachitra.
A certificate of appreciation and a cheque of Rs 1,50,000 were given to her by Lal, on behalf of Biju Patanik University of Technology.

In a similar vein, professor Lal appreciated Silu Nayak’s zeal, passion, selfless devotion and energy in helping rural youths to realise their potentials and dreams of getting into armed forces. Silu imparts them free training through ‘Mahaguru Battalion’ in Jagatsinghpur.
The Governor hoped that it will inculcate the spirit of selfless service in many more youths and inspire them to work for the society.
