Bhanjanagar: A poster, purportedly put up by Maoists and which surfaced in Ganjam district Saturday, has threatened to kill two MLAs and police informers.
The poster was spotted near a bus stand at Dadaralunda, about 18 kilometres away from Bhanjanagar, sources said.
The red rebels threatened to assassinate the police informers and two legislators of Ganjam district without mentioning their names.
According to sources, however, police suspect the poster could be fake because it does not carry any Maoist organisation’s name.
The threat comes just a month after a sitting MLA and one former MLA of Telangana were shot dead by the ultras.
