Phulbani: After a few days of interval, Maoists poster resurfaced at Durgapanga village under Kotagarh police limits in Kandhamal district Sunday morning.
The posters released in the name of outlawed CPI (Moaist) outfit’s Odisha State Committee were spotted by locals who immediately informed police.
The posters put up on roadside trees near Durgapanga government school appealed locals who are working in District Voluntary Force (DVF), Special Operation Group (SOG) and Odisha Home Guard to join the Maoist movement.
Through the posters, the ultras cautioned the youths working as police informers and told them not to work against the interest of their family members and relatives.
Taking a dig at the BJP-led NDA government, the Maoists alleged it of spreading hatred among different sections of the society and trying to end the reservation system in jobs.
They also gave a call to prevent Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) from making any impact in the state.
Earlier, the red rebels had reportedly put up a poster in Ganjam district November 3 threatening to kill police informers and two MLAs.
The poster was spotted near a bus-stand at Dadaralunda, 18 km from Bhanjanagar.
