Rourkela: Fresh Maoist posters have been spotted on a post in front of Sonua Station in Bandgaon block under Kareikala police limits in Jharkhand. The place is around 150 kilometers from Rourkela and 100 kilometers from Odisha border.

The posters have appealed the villagers to celebrate the CPI (Maoist) ‘Foundation Week’ from September 21 to 27. The posters urge the locals to celebrate the week in high spirits.

The posters have also appealed the villagers to take part in the revolution of change. The posters have also conveyed ‘Laal Salaam’ to Mao ‘martyrs’.

Posters have been a frequent way of communication for the Maoists. Notably August 28, Maoists of the Bansadhara-Ghumusura-Nagabali (BGN) in Rayagada had appealed for tribal kids to stay away from police.
