Maoist posters surface in Kandhamal

Daringbadi: Maoist posters have again surfaced at Daringbadi in Kandhamal district Thursday triggering panic among the locals.

The Peoples Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) week which is being observed by the outlawed CPI (Maoist) outfit since Sunday has reached its fifth day Thursday.

The posters were spotted by locals near Sudhananda Ashram at Kirikuti and Patangi.

While the red rebels always use red-coloured posters, they have used black-coloured posters for the first time today.

Through the poster, the ultras urged the people to observe PLGA week from December 6 to 12 to protest against ‘Khakee militants’ who are spreading hatred and violence through mob lynching in the name of ‘Go Raksha’ (Protection of cows).

The Maoists have also appealed the people to raise their voices to stop violence against Dalits, tribal people and minorities.
