Rayagada: Majhighariani Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Rayagada, in collaboration with the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, successfully organised a Mass CPR Training Programme on its campus Saturday.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr LN Sahu from the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Rayagada, along with trust members of the organisation, Ravi Kishore and Sunil Kumar Mohanty.
The inaugural session was held in the presence of Biswajeet Panda, Vice Chairman (MITS Group), Dr CV Gopinath, Director, and Professor Ramanuja Nayak, Principal.
More than 800 students, faculty, and staff from the MITS Group of Institutions (MITS, MIPS & MITC) actively participated and received training in lifesaving CPR techniques.
The training was conducted by Brahma Mahadev Manda, Master Trainer, along with a team of four experienced trainers, who guided participants through practical demonstrations and hands-on sessions.
The programme was well-structured, interactive, and impactful, equipping the participants with essential emergency response skills.
The management and administration of MITS extended heartfelt thanks to the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation for their noble initiative and dedicated service towards spreading awareness and building life-saving skills among youth and professionals.
This Mass CPR initiative is part of the organisation’s larger mission to train 2 lakh individuals in Odisha by 2025 to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies, thereby saving countless lives.
