Cuttack: The Matric supplementary examinations conducted by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) have started Monday. 27, 616 students are appearing for the examination in 122 centres across the state.
The supplementary exams will conclude July 14 but the examination for Paper II of the State Open School students will continue till July 16, 2019.
All examination centres have been identified as nodal centres while elaborate arrangements have been made for conducting the examination in a free and fair manner. In view of the past incidents of question paper leaks, the Board has asked centre superintendents to ensure complete ban on mobile phones.
Around 5.61 lakh students had appeared for the annual Matric exam which was held from February 22 till March 8, 2019. A total of 3, 97,125 students had successfully cleared the Class 10 exam this year.
