Bhubaneswar: Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar will visit the state November 27 to address Dalit Samabesh here. The congregation is being organised by the SC department of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC).
Speaking to reporters here, the department chief Bibhu Prasad Tarai said Meira Kumar and Jignesh Mevani will address the rally here at Swadhinata Sangrami ground at 3 pm, Tuesday. PCC president Niranjan Patnaik and leader of opposition Narasingha Mishra will also be present , he added.
The party expects to gather 25,000 workers at the rally.
