Hinjilicut: A minor boy from a different state was caught stealing red handed from a house in block colony under Hinjilicut block of Ganjam district Tuesday.
He has been handed over to the police.
According to a source, the young man entered the house of Sushant Sahoo here posing as a honey seller and stole gold necklace, earrings, ring, anklets and Rs. 500 after breaking the almirah. However, the family members caught him in the act and raised an alarm.
Neighbours chased and caught hold of the fleeing minor near Nuagarh and handed him over to the cops. A case has been registered under case no. 178/ 19 in this context.
