Koraput: Border Security Force (BSF) jawans Friday handed over a militiaman, who was caught at a weekly market here Thursday, to the Machhkund police in Koraput district.
The arrested was identified as Sahu Muduli (25), son of Lachha Muduli of Kusumput village under Mochimput police limits in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.
Acting on a tip-off, the jawans of 13th battalion, stationed at Ankadeli here, arrested Muduli from the market. During interrogation, Muduli admitted that he was involved in various Maoist activities in Mochimput area. The jawans later handed him over to the police.
