Bhubaneswar: Law, Works, and Excise Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan inspected the status of the under-construction road from Sundarpada to Jatni here Friday, and instructed the contractors and departmental officers to complete construction by the end of November. The Minister directed officials to expedite the process and convert the 13.5 km-long road into a four-lane stretch.

He also reviewed drainage, sewerage, and electrification utilities works, which often cause delays during road widening. Ekamra-Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh, former minister Suresh Kumar Routray, chief engineer (Roads) Dhyanachand Nayak, chief construction engineer (Bhubaneswar) Manoj Mahanand, superintending engineer Sachin Sahu, along with officials from various line departments and representatives of the contracting agency, were present during the minister’s visit.
