Barbil: A minor girl was allegedly raped at Rugudi under Joda block in Keonjhar district. The condition of the seven-year-old victim was critical and she was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack Friday evening.
Police have arrested the accused and produced him in a court. The accused was identified as Jabini Munda of Gualai panchayat. According to reports, the girl was raped Wednesday night. Her parents lodged a complaint at the police station Thursday.
Police registered a case against the accused under various sections of the POCSO Act.
