Digapahandi: A five-year-old boy lost his life after falling into a septic tank at Bhismagiri village under this block in Ganjam district Tuesday.
He was identified as B Satyaban Patra. Sources said the incidents occurred while Satyaban along with his friends was playing with a puppy near the tank.
Satyaban along with the puppy fell into the tank. His friends shouted for help following which locals rescued the boy and puppy. However, it was too late as Satyaban had died by then.
Police sent the body for post-mortem. PNN
