Bargarh: A body of a minor girl Mamata Luha daughter of Bikram Luha was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances in Budhapali village under Padmapur police limits in the district Friday.
According to reports, after dinner Mamata went to bed Thursday night subsequently went missing and later was found hanging from a tree in the village this Friday morning.
Locals spotted the deceased and alerted the family members following which a case was lodged with police.
Police sent the body for autopsy after reaching the spot and started an investigation.
On the other hand the family members of the deceased alleged that she has been murdered.
