Balichandrapur: Police arrested a minor boy and his friend on charge of making a video of his sister-in-law’s bathing scene and making it viral in social media under this police limits in Jajpur district Sunday.
A mobile phone used by the accused minor and his friend Samir Barik (19) to shoot the video was seized by the police. The arrests were made after the victim woman’s father-in-law in Balipadia panchayat filed a complaint against Samir, the friend of his nephew with police in this regard November 16.
The prime accused is the son of the younger brother of the complainant. Samir was produced in Chandikhole court and sent to judicial custody while the minor boy was produced before the district juvenile justice board.
The IIC Rakesh Kumar Tripathy brought Samir to the police station and questioned him in this connection. There he revealed to have received the video from the prime accused who is his friend and the brother-in-law of the victim and later made it viral in social media.
The prime accused used to peep through the skylites when her sister-in-law used to bath. He then narrated the matter to Samir. However, he failed to visit their house due to past enmity and handed over his mobile phone to the minor to make a video of the bathing scenes. Later, he made it viral in social media.
