Khandapara: Miscreants looted Rs 1.6 lakh from an L&T vehicle here in Nayagarh district by hurling crude bombs Tuesday afternoon.
One of the company employees going to deposit the money with Andhra Bank at Nayagarh was injured in the incident which occurred near Kaithapalli in Sikharpur panchayat between Khandapada and Nayagarh.
The injured employee has been identified as the company’s gun man. On receipt of information, Nayagarh superintendent of police reached the spot for further investigation.
