Bolangir: Mystery shrouded the death of Bolangir district students’ congress president Susant Mishra, whose body was found hanging in his house at Biramunda village under Sadar police limits Thursday morning.
While it is suspected that Mishra committed suicide, the manner in which the body was found hanging, with one leg placed inside a silver cooking bowl, raised suspicion. Some locals spotted the body and informed the police. Police came in and recovered a scooty and an empty liquor bottle from the house of the deceased.
The body was sent for post mortem at the district hospital. Sadar SDPO Rishikesh Tiwari would investigate the case.
