Bhubaneswar, Sept 28: Lalita Prasida Sripada Srisai, Class IX student of Delhi Public School, Damanjodi, run by Navratna Nalco, who had bagged the International Google Science Award for Community Impact which carries a cash prize of $10,000 and a citation, called on TK Chand, CMD, Nalco Monday in Bhubaneswar to apprise him of her project ‘Low Cost Bio-adsorbents’.
Chand, in turn, appreciated Lalita and said that she is not only a role model for children of the school but also for children across the country. She has played a key role in fostering scientific temper, he said.
Lalita, daughter of Subramanya KS (principal, DPS) and Kalyani SVNS, was accompanied by her mentor Pallabi Mohapatra and father, mother and younger sister Krishna Praneeta.
