Cuttack: The state administrative tribunal (SAT) Wednesday issued non-bailable warrants against mass education secretary Ranjana Chopra and elementary education director Chudamani Seth in connection with a contempt of court case. Acting on a petition filed by two sikshya sahayaks, the tribunal has issued warrants against the officials for not implementing its order on regularisation of 26 sikshya sahayaks. According to sources, two sikshya sahayaks — Basant Mahalik and Sridhar Das — had filed petitions with the SAT seeking regularisation of 26 sikshya sahayaks.
