Bhubaneswar: Yet another newborn girl child was found abandoned Sunday, this time in the Capital city of Bhubaneswar. The girl was rescued from a secluded place in Prasanti Vihar area here.
Sources said, a passerby while passing through the area heard the cry of the baby and rescued her. She had injuries on her body while she was rescued. The newborn was immediately rushed to Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here where she is under treatment, it was learnt.
Police have meanwhile started investigation into the incident and are on the lookout to trace the person involved.
