Keonjhar: A newborn baby girl, who was found abandoned under a tree in Barbil town’s Sriram Nagar area in Keonjhar district, was rescued by some social workers Sunday morning.
She was rushed to the Barbil Community Health Centre and her condition is stated to be healthy. “The baby will be shifted to Keonjhar DHH for thorough examination,” said authorities of health centre.
A local resident first spotted the child following which he informed a social organisation.
