Bhubaneswar, June 19: National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) is set to make a short film on Bhubaneswar which will focus on the unique identity of the city and its rich cultural heritage. The move comes in the wake of the city receiving the smart city tag in January.
According to a report, the shooting of film is set to start June 24. Filming will take seven days and NFDC has requested the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) to provide them with support in this regard.
According to sources, the NFDC will use both drone and video cameras to record aerial and ground footage and the film will be showcased on different fora across the country.
The film-makers will move to several key locations of the city during the shoot. The film will also feature interactions with BMC Commissioner Dr Krishan Kumar and Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, besides those with the city’s residents.
