Bhubaneswar: Nirupama Jena and Bijaya Laxmi Pradhan emerged victorious in the senior women’s and junior women’s category respectively in the 50m Prone (OS) event on the penultimate day at the VIIth State Shooting Championship here, Saturday.
Prasant Kumar Mohapatra topped the senior men’s category whereas Amiya Khatoi bagged the first place in the junior segment. Bhagwan Behera emerged victorious in the veteran men’s category.
In the 25m Pistol (0.22) event Pragyanshu Sahoo and Prachesu Sahoo emerged victorious in the senior and junior women’s category respectively. Palash Sahoo and Ayush Ch Dev won the senior and junior men’s event whereas Pramod Ch Sahoo won the veteran men’s category.
In the 25m Pistol event Hariprasad Patnaik came first in the veteran men’s category whereas Rohit Gangdeb grabed the pole position the senior men’s category.
