Nayagarh: Body of a farmer was found hanging from a tree near a farmland at Ostapada village under Chandpur police limits in Ranapur block of Nayagarh district Sunday.
The farmer has been identified to be Gobinda Sahu (65).
A family member of the deceased farmer said that he died by suicide due to crop loss.
According to a local, Sahu — a sharecropper — had cultivated paddy on two acres of land.
