Odisha: BSE matric results likely by first or second week of May

Bhubaneswar: The results of the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, are likely to be declared by the first or second week of May, BSE President Srikanta Tarai said Monday.

Notably, the examinations concluded smoothly March 2 after commencing February 19. They were conducted across 3,082 centers in the state without any major incidents.

Tarai said the evaluation process is already underway. The checking and marking of objective OMR answer sheets have begun, while the evaluation of subjective papers will start March 19.

Around 15,000 teachers will be engaged in the evaluation process at 51 centers across the state, he added.

“If there are no weather-related disruptions, the results will be announced by the second week of May,” Tarai said.
