Malkangiri: In a good news for movie buffs, Allu Arjun starrer upcoming film ‘Pushpa 2’ will be shot in Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri district.
The film will be shot at various locations of Swabhiman Anchal and in Saptadhara of Malkangiri
district. The production house Mythri Movie Makers after selecting locations has written to Malkangiri Collector Vishal Singh and Superintendent of Police (SP) Nitesh Wadhwani seeking their permission for the shooting of the
film.
This has spread cheers among the movie lovers in the state. A six-member team led by the director of the movie Sukumar, production manager of Mythri Movie Makers, visited Hantalaguda, Sarkubandha hanging bridge, Chitrakonda spillway and other locations of the area ahead of the shooting.
Recently, the production house released the poster and teaser of the upcoming movie. They met the district Collector and SP to seek permission for the shooting, which is likely to start by the first week of May. They also assured the officials regarding adherence to rules and regulations during the shooting. The much-awaited movie is likely to hit the theatres in 2024.
