Bhubaneswar/Nayagarh: A team of STF has arrested two drug peddlers from Nayagarh district and seized more than 106 kg of ganja, a car and other incriminating materials from their possession.
STF source Saturday said on the basis of intelligence input, a raid was conducted Friday by a team of STF, Bhubaneswar with the help of Nayagarh district police at Itamati under Itamati police limits and arrested two drug peddlers.
STF identified the accused as Jugal Nayak (29) of Bandhagada village under Phiringia police limits of Kandhamal district and Ranjit Bhoi, (24 ) of Phulbani Sahi, under Phulbani police limits of Kandhamal district. During the search, ganja more than 106 kg, one car and other incriminating materials were recovered and seized from their possession.
A case has been registered at Itamati Police Station for necessary legal action. An investigation is on.
