Odisha weather bulletin: Light to moderate rainfall expected over Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar among others

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather bulletin predicted light to moderate rainfall for several districts of Odisha till August 22.

Upto 8.30 AM of August 21: The weather agency said that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Nabarangpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Sundargarh and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.

From 8.30 AM of August 21 to 8.30 AM of August 22: The agency informed that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha.

From August 22 to 24, IMD issued Yellow Warning for thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall over different districts of Odisha.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 33 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively.

In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 34.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Nayagarh, Paralakhemundi and Boudh while the lowest minimum temperature of 21.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Nabarangpur, the weather bulletin informed.
