Papadahandi: A bike-rider died and the pillion rider was injured in a road mishap near Babajiguda on national highway 26 passing through this block in Nabarangpur district Tuesday morning.
The two were rushed to the district hospital by a 108 ambulance. Though their identity was yet to be established, they were learnt to be hailing from Maidalpur village. Locals said an unidentified vehicle had hit their bike and sped away.
Police started an investigation.
