Bhubaneswar: Under the 5T initiative of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odia Language, Literature and Culture department, Friday, signed an MoU to enable online booking of auditoriums under the control of the department.
With the implementation of the initiative, people would be able to book auditoriums like Rabindra Mandap, Utkal Mandap and Bhanjakala Mandap online. The government has signed a MoU with SBI to receive payment for reservation of the auditoriums, sources said.
Culture minister Jyotiprakash Panigrahi said, “This is an initiative that will be fruitful under 5T initiative of the Chief Minister.” He also said that the Culture department is going ahead with technology support.
