Orissa colts bag seven medals

Bhubaneswar, March 30: Orissa Wushu team bagged seven medals, including a gold in the 14th Sub-junior National Wushu Championships, which concluded at the Choturam Indoor Stadium in Rohatak, Monday.
Sumitra Munda bagged gold in the 20kg category. Madhusudan Munda (36kg) and Sivashankar Khanduala (32kg) secured silver medals. Krishna Munda (20kg), Krishna Khandayat (32kg), Arti Gope (32kg) and Mukta Munda (36kg) won bronze medals.
A 20-member team from Orissa participated in the four-day meet. Pradymna Behera, Pankaj Mahanto, Purendra Giri, Satyaner Pande, Bharat Das and Sushil Kumar Samal from the state took part in the competition as officials.

Shesdeep Patra has been included in the 15-member team, announced by the Orissa Cricket Association (OCA), Sunday, for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali T-20 Trophy All India Super League Tournament (Group-B) at the DRIEMS Stadium in Cuttack April 1-5. Shesdeep replaces all-rounder Pratik Das, who will not be available due to his examinations.
