Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: Orissa bagged two medals including a silver and a bronze in the National Senior Karate Championships in Kerala, Sunday. Dilip Kumar Jena secured the second position in the 55kg fight category to win a silver. Anuradha Patra stood third in the 68 kg fight category to be satisfied with a bronze medal. It was a good show put up by the two martial arts exponents.

Cuttack A and Bargarh bagged seven points including a bonus point each after registering innings victory against their respective opponents on the second and the final day of their two-day Kalahandi Cup cricket matches at different Grounds of Cuttack, Sunday.
At Ravenshaw-I Ground, Cuttack-A thrashed Sundargarh by an innings and 36 runs riding on a brilliant spell of spin bowling by Dhiraj Singh (5/8). At Nimpur Ground, Bargarh drubbed Balasore by an innings and 98 runs.

RSPB-A emerge champs
Railway Sports Promotional Board-A (RSPB-A) emerged champions of the 36th National Team Chess Championships with 16 points after the end of the ninth and the final round at the KIIT Law College here Sunday. Airport Authority of India finished runners-up with 15 points, while Air India stood third with 14 points.
