Cuttack, Feb 5: Orissa rowers continued their brilliant show to win two more medals, including a gold in the National Games at Alleppey Kerala, Thursday.
Sanjukta Dungdung and Manjula Xess won the yellow metal in the women’s 500m Coxless Pairs event, while Meena Madhuri Toppo, Sanjukta Dungdung, Manjula Xess and Pricila Baxla secured silver in the women’s 500m Coxless Four event.
Coach Jose Jacob expressed satisfaction over the performance of the women rowers. “They have reaped the rewards of their hard work,” he stated after congratulating the winners.
