Paradip: The body of a driver of a truck, which had sunk after falling off Bhutamundai bridge into Mahanadi river near Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district two days ago, was fished out Tuesday.
Body of deceased Ajit Mandal was found from the cabin of the truck in the river by the rescue team on the third day of operation, reports said.
On the other hand, body of the missing helper was yet to be traced.
It may be mentioned here that the driver and the helper went missing July 29 after the 12-wheeler truck fell from a height of 70 feet into the Mahanadi river. The mishap occurred when the truck was returning to Chandikhole from Paradip after unloading cargo and hit the parapet of the bridge.
