Mumbai: Actress Parineeti Chopra has denied reports that she will star alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in director Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film Sultan.
Parineeti, who was rumoured to be part of the Yash Raj Films project, took to Twitter to clarify that she is not doing the much anticipated film.
“Guys, I am not doing Sultan, please put all rumours and speculations to rest and let me announce my next film when the time is right,” Parineeti tweeted.
Parineeti, who made her Bollywood debut with 2011 film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, was last seen on the silver screen in Kill Dil, which released in November 2014. Since then, the 27-year-old, who also starred in the mini web-series Man’s World, has been attached to various projects including Sultan.
The first audio teaser of Sultan, which is slated to release on the Eid next year, reveals that Salman will be essaying the role of a wrestler. The actor, who is currently shooting for the film, can be seen sporting a stubble and a crew cut. However, the lead actress for the film is yet to be finalised. IANS
