We are talking about the ancient temple complex of Kiradu. There is a small village named Kirudu, about 30 kilometres from barmer in Rajasthan. People talk about different types of things about this temple.
It is also said that this temple is cursed. This temple is believed to be a local resident of Ashokkun. Even the villagers have to say that the huge stone situated outside the temple is no other but a kumarin which has become a stone due to the curse of a sage.
People arrive here in the evening because it is believed that after the evening, whatever remains here turns into a stone.
All the stones that are present here used to be human in some age. Due to these reasons, all architectures are locked in the evening and people leave here.
Due to desertification these temples have not been maintained properly.
Although, no concerete proof has been reached so far, experts believe that people can come and rest easily. By the way, the Kirkadu temple is quite rich in terms of architecture. People here come to see the architecture of the temples and enjoy the deserted and wonderful surroundings here.
