Jatni: A pet dog saved the life of his master after a fierce fight with a venomous snake near Jatni Municipality Chhak here Monday night.
According to sources, a cobra was entering the residence of Amin Sarif, who was fast asleep Monday night. The dog saw and snake and started barking. The encounter between the two began and continued for quite some time. However, the dog died from the snakebite.
The family members expressed their grief over the death of the faithful pet. They buried the carcass of the dog at the backyard of their house. Sources also said that the snake also died in the fight.
