Hindi film actress Pooja Batra tied the knot with boyfriend and actor Nawab Shah in a private ceremony in July earlier this year.

The recently-married couple has been giving fans some major relationship goals with their romantic pictures posted on social media.

Earlier, Nawab shared a picture of himself and his wife Pooja in which the couple can be seen chilling by the pool. Pooja looked stunning wearing a red bikini which flaunted her incredibly fit body and Nawab looked dashing with his ripped body.

Their wedding pictures went viral on social media and for good reason. Both Pooja and Nawab looked out of this world. Pooja was dressed in a green saree with a pink dupatta while Nawab sported a beige kurta-pyjama and a turban.

Pooja had shared a video on her Instagram story wearing a set of red wedding bangles, worn by Punjabi brides at the time of their wedding.

Although the couple never spoke about their relationship openly before, it seems they just can’t stop themselves from sharing their pictures togetehr.

Nawab said said in an interview recently that he wanted to marry Pooja as soon as he met her.

“One has to be ready to experience something like this, and I guess, Pooja and I were in that space. It was as if we were destined to be together. We didn’t want to think about it too much and delay it (marriage) any further. Both of us have gone through various phases in life and have matured over the years. When I reconnected with her, a relationship wasn’t on my mind. However, at this stage in life, you feel the void of not having a companion. Pooja entered my life like sunshine and I was sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. In fact, I wanted to marry her right after our first meeting,” he said.

Pooja starred in films like ‘Viraasat’, ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’ and ‘Nayak: The Real Hero’. She was earlier married to Dr Sonu S Ahluwalia and got divorced in 2011. Nawab , who was last seen in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, has worked in movies ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Don 2’ and ‘Lakshya’.

He will soon be seen in Arjun Kapoor-starrer ‘Panipat’.
