Cuttack, Jan 8: OSP Cuttack and Keonjhar District Police emerged overall champions in the men’s and the women’s segment of the 67th State Police Athletics Meet, which concluded at the Police Ground here, Thursday.
Similarly VIth IRB Battalion, Khurda finished runners-up in the men’s segment, while Commissionerate of Police-A secured the second position in the women’s category. Saraswati Chand was considered as the best woman athlete, while Tareni Sen was adjudged as the best man athlete. DGP Sanjeeb Marik joined as chief guest and distributed prizes. As many as 920 participants took part in this four-day long competition.
