Bhanjanagar: Police recovered 30 mobile phones that had gone missing from local residents of Bhanjanagar and returned them to their owners Sunday.
The handover took place during a press briefing at Bhanjanagar police station, where ASP Ranjan Kumar Dey formally returned the recovered devices. SDPO Deepak Kumar Mishra and Inspector-In-Charge Jibananda Jena were also present.
Officials said that over the past few days, more than 30 mobile phones belonging to residents of the Bhanjanagar police station limits had gone missing from various locations.
Police had registered missing cases and formed three teams to trace the devices. The recovered phones were returned to their owners following the investigation.
