Hatadihi: Keonjhar SP Jayanarayan Pankaj Tuesday suspended a police van driver on the charge of misbehaviour at Nandipada police station in Keonjhar district.
He was identified as Dharmanand Das. In a letter, the SP directed the suspension of Das for misbehaviour to his senior officials and his involvement in many illegal activities.
After getting a complaint, the SP had directed the Nandipada IIC Bijay Kumar Mallick to probe into the incident. On the basis of the report, the SP suspended Das.
Earlier, the SP had also suspended Prem Kumar, ASI of Turumunga police station.
