Bhabanipatana: An eight-month pregnant woman was allegedly raped by a pastor under the pretext of conduct ing a prayer for her recovery from illness here in Kalahandi district, police said Wednesday.
The survivor fi led a written complaint with police, leading to a case (335/26) being lodged and prompting an investigation.
The incident has sparked shockwaves across Kalahandi district.
The woman has accused a local pastor of raping her under the pretext of offering prayers for her health, police said.
