Bhubaneswar: Professor Sabita Pradhan has been appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of Odia University, Satyabadi, a source in Raj Bhavan said Friday.
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal appointed Sabita Pradhan as the Vice Chancellor of Odia University for a period of two years, added the source.
According to the source, her tenure of service will begin with effect from the date she assumes office or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Notably, Pradhan is currently working as an Odia professor at Visva Bharati University in West Bengal.
