Providential escape for cricketer Raina

Kanpur: Cricketer Suresh Raina had a providential escape early Tuesday morning when the car he was travelling in suffered a tyre burst. Raina, who is the captain of the India Blue team in the Duleep Trophy was going to Kanpur from Ghaziabad when the accident happened near Friends Colony at Etawah. Police said that if the car had been travelling at high speed the consequences could have been serious. Raina, who was driving the SUV Range Rover, did not suffer any injuries. He was en route to play a Duleep Trophy game which starts Wednesday at the Green Park in Kanpur . Local police then provided him with another car to go towards his destination.
