Versatile hero Suriya, who was last seen in the average entertainer Thaanaa Serndha Koottam which released this year Pongal, had then been busy shooting for his 36th movie, NGK directed by critically acclaimed maker Selvaraghavan who had last made the disastrous entertainer Iranadaam Ulagam.
While the movie had been almost complete and was aiming a Diwali release, Selvaraghavan’s appendicitis operation had lead to the delay and this was when Suriya shifted to shooting for his 37th movie directed by KV Anand, leading to speculations that NGK will never be released and that there’s a fight between Suriya and Selva.
However, Suriya has now returned to shoot for the final schedule of NGK and the shooting is currently happening at Kerala, where the lead actress Rakul Preet Singh is also participating, and the actress is shuttling between NGK shooting at Kerala and her Bollywood flick Maarjaavaan shooting, NGK is aiming to release in April.
