New Delhi: Actor and producer Rana Daggubati has announced a horror film, Scary Picture, which features Kangana Ranaut.
The film is directed by Telugu filmmaker-actor Ravi Babu and will be in Hindi. It also marks Ravi’s Hindi film debut.
The announcement was made by Daggubati Saturday at HorrorCon. Videos from the event have been circulating online.
“So, it’s a horror film. It is by a director called Ravi Babu, who is a friend of mine,” he said.
“He’s made multiple horror films in Telugu. And this is his first Hindi feature. The title is announced here first. It went to no Hindi press; this is the first time we’re putting the intimation up,” he added.
Ranaut re-shared the video on her Instagram story.
The actor earlier starred in Ek Niranjan, which marked her Telugu debut. Released in 2009, the film featured her alongside Prabhas.
She has also appeared in several horror films, including Raaz: The Mystery Continues and Chandramukhi 2, among others.
The actor was last seen in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata. The film revolved around the courage and selflessness shown by nurses and hospital staff at Mumbai’s Cama & Albless Hospital during the devastating November 2008 terror attacks.
She essayed the role of senior nurse Geeta Madhav Gandhare in the film.
