Bolangir: Three persons were killed when the motorcycle they were travelling on collided head-on collided with a bus on NH-26 near Lahurapali village under Saintala police limits in Bolangir district late Sunday night.
The identities of the deceased persons were yet to be known.
According to reports, the mishap took place when the trio travelling on a two-wheeler collided head-on with the bus which was on its way to Bhubaneswar from Bhawanipatna. Three of them died on the spot under the impact of the collision.
On being informed, police reached the spot, seized the bodies, and sent it for post-mortem.
The driver of the bus fled from the spot after the road accident, reports said.
