Keonjhar: Counterfeit notes in the denomination of 200 are in circulation in Keonjhar. The development has raised the concern of traders and common people.
Recently, a cloth store owner at daily market and an egg seller near bus stand received two fake notes of Rs 200. During peak business time, traders and people fail to detect the counterfeit notes. Innocent tribal people will be at the receiving end of the counterfeit notes.
Locals suspect that a racket is pushing such an illegal act and demanded quick action against racketeers.
