Rourkela: The body of a Deputy Manager at Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was found hanging from the ceiling of his residence at Sector-2 in Rourkela Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Jay Prabesh (31), the Deputy Manager at RSP’s Plate Mill Department.
Prabesh’s wife was pregnant and went to her in-law’s house at Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut three days ago.
Prabesh was also supposed to go to his house Sunday, reports said.
When Prabesh didn’t receive phone calls, his wife called up his friends following which they went to his quarters and found him dead.
Police reached the spot and sent the body to Ispat General Hospital for post-mortem.
Though the exact reason for the act is not yet known, it is suspected that he might have committed suicide Saturday night.
